- Eyelid Surgery
This patient is a 35 year old female who visited my practice with interest in blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery). This patient felt that her upper lids had a heavy, tired appearance that did not fit with her age or her energy level. She wished to have a very natural and subtle rejuvenation of her lids in order to present a more "bright eyed" appearance without having an "operated on" appearance.
I felt that this patient would benefit from an upper blepharoplasty (upper lid rejuvenation) in order to improve her overall appearance. In the operating room, I removed a moderate amount of excess skin and fat in order to sharpen the appearance of her lids without giving her a "surgical" appearance.
After surgery, this patient healed extremely well, and was immediately thrilled with the refreshed and natural appearance of her eyes.
