- Breast Reduction
This patient is a 36 year old female who presented to my practice due to problems with her large breasts. This patient reported significant neck, back, and shoulder pain, bra-strap grooving, and difficulty with exercise or finding clothes that fit properly.
I recommended a breast reduction for this patient which I felt would relieve the majority of her symptoms as well as improve her proportions and overall appearance.
In surgery I performed a wise pattern (anchor scar) breast reduction with a full lift. The nipples/areolas were left attached to the underlying breast tissue. I removed approximately 348 grams from the right and 389 grams from the left due to a preoperative asymmetry.
After surgery the patient healed very well and was extremely happy with the relief of her symptoms and the improvement in her appearance.
