- Power Assisted Liposuction
The patient is a 56-year-old female who presented to my practice with complaints of excess abdominal tissue as well as elasticity of the abdomen and excess fat in the love handle region. She wished to have a smoother, flatter abdomen with a more contoured waistline. She had initially considered breast surgery as well (hence, the bra-less preoperative photos), but decided to focus on her abdomen.
I felt that a full abdominoplasty with fascial plication and liposuction of the flanks would give the patient the best overall results.
In surgery, I performed a full abdominoplasty with tightening of the abdominal muscles and removal of excess skin. I also performed liposuction of the love handles through the tummy tuck incision.
After surgery the patient recovered very well. She was extremely happy with her appearance and had a significant boost in her self-confidence.
